The start of the 2016-2017 NCAA Basketball Season is just around the corner. Online bookies and pay per head agents should pay attention to following teams. The squads below are the ones that most players are likely to wager to win the NCAA Tournament in March.

Duke                           7/2

Duke is a huge favorite to win the NCAA Championship at 7/2. Coach K brings the Blue Devils into this season with the top recruiting class in the nation. This is in addition to the return of All-American Grayson Allen and top senior players Matt Jones and Amile Jefferson.

The Blue Devils opened as a 5 to 1 favorite to win the 2017 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. So much money has gone to Duke that the Blue Devils are a solid 7/2 choice. Bookmakers and PPH basketball betting agents should make sure that max betting limits are in place.

Kentucky                    8/1

The Kentucky Wildcats will always have their fans. Surprisingly, Coach K beat out John Calipari for the top recruiting class in the nation. But Calipari’s class isn’t too far off. Kentucky could be a huge surprise this season. What it means is that the 8/1 odds make the Wildcats an overlay. Pay per head agents shouldn’t be surprised if money starts pouring in on Kentucky. It’s important to have max betting limits on Kentucky to win the championship at the big odds.

Kansas                         8/1

Going into the season, the Kansas Jayhawks are once again loaded. Seniors Frank Mason III and Tyler Self along with junior Devonte Graham lead a group with 2 great freshmen in guard Josh Jackson and 7’ 0” center Udoka Azubuike from Nigeria. Like Duke, Kansas could lean on senior leadership while the freshmen are learning. It’s tough to see Kansas’s odds staying at 8/1. Bookmakers should start seeing bets on Rock Chalk Jayhawk to win the title as soon as the season starts.

Villanova                     10/1

The odds are baffling. Villanova won the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament last season over North Carolina after Kris Jenkins nailed a game winning three. Jenkins returns. As does senior guard Josh Hart. As does sophomore Jalen Brunson. Villanova didn’t lose enough to be going off at 10 to 1 to repeat as NCAA Champions. Like Kansas, the Villanova’s odds will start going down once players start wagering on the Wildcats to win the NCAA Tournament.

Online bookies and pay per head agents should keep the 4 teams above in mind as we get closer to opening day for the 2016-2017 NCAA Men’s Basketball Season. As always agents and bookmakers should set betting limits. For any questions, contact a rep at 888-978-0688.
