As we get closer and closer to the NBA Playoffs the hoops action starts to heat up and some of the top teams gain a bigger gap with the rest of the pack. For example, the Chicago Bulls latest game with Indiana Pacers was no less than spectacular pulling off a 89-77 victory.
Chicago´s forward Taj Gibson scored 23 points while Guard Kirk Hinrich added 18 points for the Bulls. Center Joakim Noah had an easy night with 10 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
Due to this loss, the Pacers lost their chance to win the Central Division title as Indiana´s coach Frank Vogel emptied his bench with a minute left before the end of the game. Last Friday, Gibson said he thought there was some uncertainty going on in an effort to draw fouls.
The following are the final scores and the scorers:
BULLS 89 – Gibson 23, Hinrich 18, Dunleavy 13, Butler 12, Noah 10, Boozer 9, Augustin 4, Murphy 0, Shengelia 0, Mohammed 0, Snell 0
PACERS 77 – George 21, Hill 17, West 14, Stephenson 8, Sloan 4, Mahinmi 3, Hibbert 3, Turner 3, Allen 2, Scola 2, Copeland 0, Hill 0, Butler 0
