NFL ACTION WEEK 9

NFL ACTION WEEK 9

source: NY Post

Tonight the Big Apple (New York City) will be the spotlight of the WEEK 9 showdown as the NY Giants host Monday Night game welcoming the Indianapolis Colts at Metlife Stadium. Currently, New York holds a 3-4 record losing consecutively to football powerhouses like the Eagles and the Cowboys over the past two weeks and a free bye week.

There is no doubt, New Yorkers and Giants´fans are in an uproar as their team hasn’t seen much football action lately. Some of the latest news on Game Day include the fact that GM Jerry Reese wants to see Damontre Moore on the field more often. So does head coach Tom Coughlin. Defensive line coach Robert Nunn said recently he wants to make that happen. Moore has averaged 16 snaps per game this season and has been credited with two sacks, the first sacks of his NFL career.

“I can’t speak for anybody else,” he said, “but I know I feel as a true competitor, coming from playing and all of a sudden not playing, the anticipation and eagerness of being young and all that and the enthusiasm and just naturally being an energetic guy… you’re right, I am anticipating it. I am waiting for it. Good things come to those who wait. It’s just like that other old saying, anything that’s worth having, you’ve got to work hard for. It’s only a matter of time right now.”

So tonight make sure to arrive early and get a good seat at MetLife stadium as the night promises to deliver unprecedented action and a clash between Giants´quarterback Eli Manning and Andrew Luck. We will then know what really matters, whether it is youth or experience… Manning captured his second ring when Luck was still at Stanford. Luck has made the playoffs in each of his first two seasons, but has yet to experience a conference championship game.
