2014-15 NFL Predictions

2014-15 NFL Predictions

source: NFL

The 2014 off-season is behind us and all active professional football teams are past the second week of training camps where the coaches and other managers are able to spot their teams´strong and weak links.

The following are some early predictions on the 2014-15 NFL season, our first prediction of the preseason is on defending champions Seattle as no team has played in or won back to back Super Bowls since the Patriots did in 2003-04.

Another NFL fact is that at least four teams that made the playoffs last season do not make it back during the new season. So out of these teams; Carolina, Denver, San Diego, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, New England, Green Bay, and New Orleans, a total of four teams are already ruled out for the 2014-15 playoffs.

The following are some other predictions on several NFL top teams for the upcoming season:

Buffalo Bills: the team currently holds the distinction of having the league’s longest active postseason drought.

Key Departures: WR Stevie Johnson, S Jairus Byrd, DL Alex Carrington

Key Injuries: LB Kiko Alonso (ACL – out for season)

2013 Record: 6-10

2014 Projected Record: 8-8

Miami Dolphins:last year the Dolphins had one of the worst offensive lines in the league.

Key Departures: DT Paul Soliai, S Chris Clemons, CB Nolan Carroll

Key Injuries: C Mike Pouncey (Out five to eight weeks)

2013 Record: 8-8

2014 Projected Record: 6-10

Key Rookies: DL Dominique Easley, QB Jimmy Garoppolo, OC Bryan Stork, RB James White
