The road to the Playoffs is being paved as we move into the action pinnacle of WEEK 9. This coming Sunday, some of the top NFL franchises will be facing off in order to lock a spot in the 2015 NFL Playoffs to take place on Saturday, January 3, 2015.

Conference championship games will take place on Sunday, January 18. The NFC Championship will be played at 3:00 pm ET on Fox, and the AFC Championship will be played at 6:30 pm ET on CBS. Super Bowl XLIX will be played on February 1 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Super Bowl will be televised on NBC at 6:30 pm ET.

Furthermore, it’s the week of Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning. Which means we have to talk quarterbacking. Brady and Manning meet Sunday in Foxborough for the 16th time as starting QBs. Brady is 8-3 vs. Manning in the regular season. They are 2-2 in the playoffs. And this is the fourth meeting in the three seasons since Manning joined the Broncos — New England has won each of the two regular-season games against the Manning Broncos, 34-31 and 31-21, but Denver won 26-16 in the 2013 playoffs.

It’s a fabulous rivalry. The two best NFL quarterbacks of the last 15 years. Aaron Rodgers might have supplanted them both in recent years, but the excellence of Manning and Brady is long-lasting, and their frequency of meeting remarkable.

I don’t know the NFL record for most quarterback meetings, but it’s likely to be broken by Eli Manning and Tony Romo, who already have dueled 15 times (Eli leads 8-7). Still, Eli-Romo doesn’t compare to Brady-Peyton. But there is an NFL quarterback rivalry that does. source: http://newsok.com/nfl-predictions
