After six consecutive losses the New York Jets will be hosting the Sunday´s game against the Buffalo Bills. There is no doubt, this has been one of the Jets´worst seasons in their franchise history, but one thing the Jets can’t do is feel sorry for themselves, because the Buffalo Bills won’t be any easier than the past six opponents when they come to MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

“Play for yourself, play for your teammates, play for your family, play for the decal,” counseled LB Quinton Coples. “You have multiple things you can play for. You’ve just got to make sure you put it into action and make it happen.”

These are couple of very interesting videos on what Head Coach Rex Ryan comments were after the Jets´most recent loss:

Here is what to expect on the Jets vs. Bills game:

  • A secret to Jets survival — despite the pass rush, the Bills’ pass defense (which factors in sack yardage) is tied for 19th. Stay away from the front four’s clutches and big plays could be had.
  • Percy Harvin, the incredibly muscular, big-play-quick, 5’11”, 184-pounder acquired from Seattle over the weekend, could be one of those Jets operating downfield. Backup QB and fellow Virginian Michael Vick said Harvin’s “picked up things so quickly that he’s going to have to be used in plenty of situations.”
  • Run defense Buffalo head coach Doug Marrone was asked if he ever experienced anything like losing his top two RBs, Fred Jackson (groin) and C.J. Spiller (collarbone) in a span of nine offensive plays against the Vikings. “Yeah, when I was with the Jets,” he said, referencing the loss of Chad Pennington and Jay Fiedler in an even shorter span in 2003.
  • WR Sammy Watkins has been as billed when the Bills took him fourth overall out of Clemson in the May draft. He’s got 35 receptions — most among NFL rookies — for 433 yards and had two TD catches last week, including the game-winner from Kyle Orton with one second on the clock in the 17-16 comebacker over the Vikings.  source:
