The NBA Playoffs action resumes today with three super exciting games in the cities of Miami, Houston and San Antonio.
The Charlotte Bobcats arrive to the American Airlines Arena to face off the Miami Heat on the second round of plays Game 2. Currently, the Heat lead the series 1 – 0. The Florida State team seems quite relax as they took Game 1 last weekend after a very slow start to win 99-88 which increased James´record to 9-0 in his openers.
Miami´s only concern is a small injury suffered by starting point guard Mario Chalmers who was not present during Tuesday’s practice. “It doesn’t change what we’re doing, you hope that everybody’s healthy. He was able to establish a big low-point presence in the first half. He’ll still be able to do that if he’s in the game” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.
Then at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas the hosts Spurs will be welcoming Dallas Mavericks. The Spurs are the betting favorites at -7.5 o -101u -109 and a money line at -440…the game will be taking place around 8pm ET.
Even though, Dallas Mavericks is a pretty strong basketball team with outstanding strategies it is very hard to think they will be knocking off the NBA´s best record team .
“The thing about all-time great players is that it’s not about one day coming in and saying, `Hey, I’m going to go harder today’ or `I’m going to be more aggressive today,”‘ Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. “He’s had the same approach every day for 16 years.”
And lastly but not least important is the game between Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets which are the favorites to win Game 2 of the series with a spread at -5.5 o -109u -102 and a money line at -250.
