Summertime is just around the corner and so is the beginning of the new 2014 NFL training camps and the awaited preseason.
Mostly, all NFL teams should have their roster completed by now, but the coming 8 weeks can still deliver some interesting surprises regarding new transfers as it was rumored just yesterday that the Dallas Cowboys have a growing interest in the Patriots quarterback Ryan Mallett.
So far there is “a list” of 10 players who could be traded during this period, but this is just mere speculation, especially on Mallett´s case that it seems both the Cowboys and the Texans have shown some level of curiosity in the player´s profile.
Mallett has been connected to the Texans and former offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien since early March as the speculations continue to grow especially during draft weekend. Patriots coach Bill Belichick recently insisted he’s not that interested in dealing Mallett, which is another way of inviting prospective suitors to raise their offers…stated Chris Wesseling.
Another name on the list if that of former second-round pick RB LaMichael James, who has had talks with both the Cowboys and the Eagles respectively. Over the past two years James has rushed for 189 yards in 39 rushing attempts. Also, last April there were rumors involving James departure that was fueled when James opted to pass a workout bonus of $50,000 that would have been due if he had attended the opening of the 49ers off-season program.
Trades are not out of the question yet and here is a quick video on some other rumors which are still making news:
