The Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team  is the winningest NCAA Division I basketball program in history, holding both the most all-time wins (2178) and the highest all-time winning percentage (.764). Kentucky also leads all schools in total NCAA tournament appearances with 54, is first in NCAA tournament wins with 120, and ranks second to UCLA in NCAA championships with 8.

The Wildcats of the University of Kentucky have been runners up of several of NCAA Tournament in the following years: 1966, 1975, 1997, 2014 and have reached the Final Four in the following years: 1942, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1958, 1966, 1975, 1978, 1984, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015.

Additionally, the team has been conference tournament champions on: 1921, 1933, 1937, 1939, 1940, 1942, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1952, 1984, 1986, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2010, 2011, 2015.

The Kentucky team plays their home games at the Rupp Arena located in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, U.S. Since its opening in 1976, it has been the centerpiece of Lexington Center, a convention and shopping facility which has a capacity of approximately 23,500 spectators.

The Wisconsin Badgers and Kentucky Wildcats will face off at Lucas Oil Stadium in NCAA Final Four this Saturday night. The (1) Wisconsin Badgers (35-3, 16-2 Big Ten) used a big 55 point second half behind 10 three-pointers to pull off the 85-78 victory against the (2) Arizona Wildcats this past Saturday.
