The NFL playoffs are coming and the playoff standings for 2015 shifted quite a bit over the weekend, one of the games that really shook up the NFL standings was the Arizona Cardinals beating the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday (Nov. 2). The 28-17 win moved Arizona to 7-1 on the season and gives them the best record in the league. The Cowboys dropped to 6-3 and fell from the two seed in the NFC all the way down to the first wild card slot.

Over in the 2015 NFL playoff standings for the AFC, the 7-2 New England Patriots lead the conference after beating the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Broncos slide into the No. 2 slot with a 6-2 record. Currently the AFC North leaders are the Cincinnati Bengals at 5-2-1 and they move up to No. 3. The team is just ahead of the 6-3 Pittsburgh Steelers, 5-3 Cleveland Browns, and 5-4 Baltimore Ravens in a very tight divisional race.

As for the rest of the AFC, the Indianapolis Colts hold a 5-3 record, first place in the AFC South, and the No. 4 seed. The two wild card teams are the Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) at this point of the season. Three other teams are also 5-3 (Browns, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins) but get bumped down because of tie-breakers.

There are 11 teams in all that have winning records in the AFC and just eight in the NFC thus far.
