The 2013 NFL draft took place in New York City last week and most of the top NFL teams rated the event with A´s and B´s+.
For example; the Houston Texans selected DeAndre Hopkins a great complement for the team and a strong prospect to replace Andre Johnson in the near future.
The San Diego Chargers top picks were: (11) – D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama; (38) – Manti Te’o, ILB Notre Dame a great college player, but with some athletic limitations and a “catfishing” scandal that decreased his chances for a higher draft position. Lastly, (76) Keenan Allen WR, California these names were the best prospects left on the board for the Chargers’ offensive line and overall performance.
On the other hand, Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State, a very good cover guy and some young blood Mike Glennon, QB from North Carolina State. Many have questioned this pick, but Glennon´s potential is there especially if he improves his speed.
The Baltimore Ravens´ most prominent pick was inside linebacker Arthur Brown, who could eventually fill in the empty space left by Ray Lewis´s retirement. Brown is expected to shine in the next 2013-2014 NFL season.
