The 2014-2015 NFL season will be kicking off next September 4th, but most football enthusiasts are already getting ready for the upcoming training camps which are to take place in the following weeks.
Some college football players are also expected to be transferred to other teams or be invited to train with top leading power ranking houses, even if at the end of the training there might be no room in the roster for the player to stay. And so is the case of former Syracuse center Macky MacPherson who recently ended a 3-day mini camp with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I think it went well. I played well,” MacPherson said on Thursday. “Really I just wanted to play my best football and not have any regrets, in terms of, ‘OK, if I play my best and they let me go, there’s no reason to be upset about it.'”
Macky MacPherson returned to Syracuse and he is currently working out with Will Hicks, SU’s assistant athletics director, in order to keep exercising his strength while leveling up his performance perhaps he might be called for another training camp invitation in the coming months.
On the other hand, rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel is already at camp with the Browns. Cleveland Browns coach already has a game plan set this summer, in order to manage his new asset as he expects huge crowds to come see the rookie quarterback. Since his arrival to Cleveland, Manziel has created a huge buzz.
