2014 March Madness Tournament

In approximately 6 to 8 weeks the 76th men’s College Basketball Championship will kickoff and up to this point there is a total of 25 cities that have been selected to host this year´s and the 2015 NCAA tournament.

It has been confirmed the 2014 Division II Men Eight was given to Evansville, Indiana and it will take place at the Ford Center on March 26-27 and 29th. Additionally, for the 19th consecutive year the 2014 Division III Men´s Championship will be held in Salem, Virginia.

The opening of the tournament tradition at the University of Dayton Arena continues as the venue will host the First Four for a couple more years (2014 & ’15). And let´s not forget about California playing a key role in future tournaments with San Diego hosting the championship for a fourth time, as a second- and third-round host in 2014.

On the other hand, the Top 25 Wooden Award finalists has been released. The list is quite notable, providing the names of just the best players in the country and the most dominant scorers we’ve seen in years.

It is important to take into account the fact that even though a player did not make it to this list he still might be eligible to make the top 15 which will be announced before the kickoff of March Madness.
