NBA Regular Season Games

This week the NBA keeps a steady course as they continue the chase to lock a top spot in the upcoming playoffs.

Some the games we are keeping an eye on are: the Spurs and the Mavericks at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. There is no doubt that Dirk Nowitzki would love to beat San Antonio now that his team has a playoff spot in sight. The 10th leading scorer in NBA history will help the Mavericks win their 8th game against the Spurs this evening.

On the other hand, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland – California the Nuggets will face off the Golden State Warriors. Sixth in the Western Conference, the Warriors (48-29) are in position to enter the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1990.

The Warriors are 1 game ahead of 7th-place Dallas and 1 1/2 up on 8th-place Phoenix, they’re 2 games back of Portland, which sits at the 5th position.

“There have been some things that happened off the floor that happen in all professional organizations,” center Andrew Bogut said. “It’s obviously none of (the media’s) business, none of the fans’ business, no one’s business outside of our organization. It’s a team thing that stays in-house. We’re still winning games.”

Doubtless, the Nuggets will push for a new victory especially after Wednesday’s 123-116 home win over Houston. Randy Foye scored 30 points on 10-of-17 shooting and delivered 15 assists, while Kenneth Faried scored 23 points and Timofey Mozgov added 22 as Denver shot 49.5 percent.
