The NBA action is on a roll and last night we witnessed real-time proof of this outstanding league at the United Center in Chicago as the Bulls overcame the Heat 95 to 88. Chicago’s Joakim Noah managed to score 20 points plus had 12 rebounds while D.J. Augustin had a total of 22 points.
Miami Heat were unrecognizable; slow and blowing off point after point which is not customary for them especially when they dropped the first and last quarter in a blink of an eye.
Here is a quick video on the game´s highlights for review: http://www.nba.com/games/20140309/MIACHI/gameinfo.html
Playful crazy Miami’s LeBron James only managed to score 17 points this time, 8 assists and 9 rebounds and it was the first time since December 2009 he attemped no free throws.
“I had some good looks. We had a lot of good opportunities to win the game. We just couldn’t finish when it came down to it.” said Lebron.
On a different note, Chicago´s Coach Thibodeau stated…”Rah-rah is good, but it’s more the effort plays that matter. I thought our guys showed a lot of toughness. Our guys have the will to continue to fight.”
Another interesting game was that of Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunders as Jodie´s Meeks delivered a career high 42-point that helped to overcome the Thunders 114 to 110.
The Staples Center located in the heart of Los Angeles was the perfect scenario of this close and overwhelming game victory as the Lakers stunned Oklahoma in a night 3/9/14 to remember.
