NCAA College Basketball Updates

The NCAA College Basketball entertainment and pure action continues delivering surprises as Stanford manages a victory over number 10 UConn. The so expected game took place on Wednesday night as the Stanford team traveled to Hartford, Connecticut in search of extra points.

Stanford Coach Johnny Dawkins was thrilled with the way his team performed and stated “I think it’s an important win for our conference,” Dawkins said. “A number of teams have had some real signature wins. I’m just happy that we were able to have one as well.”

Despite some evident struggles on Stanford´s part in the first quarters of the game Stanford went on a 14-0 run as it began shutting down UConn’s offense. Stanford guard Chasson Randle led all scorers with 22 points. He scored eight during the 14-0 run and 12 in the second half.

On the other hand, the recent news about North Carolina not pursuing Hairston’s reinstallment is a blank page. It was mentioned his career at North Carolina might be over, especially if we take into account the fact he has not played all season and his offcourt incidents.

“We tried to do everything we could possibly do to get both kids back playing,” “… We had enough information that we all agreed upon with the university and the NCAA to submit reinstatement for Leslie, but we just didn’t have it for P.J.”  athletic director Bubba Cunningham said.
