WEEK 6 Browns

WEEK 6 Browns

source: NFL Cleveland Browns

This coming Sunday the NFL will be delivering additional pro football action as we move closer to half of the regular season. Week 6 first Sunday game will be taking place at FirstEnergy Stadium where the Cleveland Browns welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After Cleveland´s poor 2014 preseason, the Browns have tried to get back on track during the regular season managing to pull two victories over the Titans and the Saints, but there are still many answered questions. The following is a quick injury report of players in serious jeopardy of missing Sunday’s game:

  • Phil Taylor is out for sure, after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery Wednesday morning.
  • Billy Winn also missing a portion of Wednesday’s practice (quad). If Winn can’t go, Pettine indicated John Hughes and Ishmaa’ily Kitchen would probably platoon at defensive end
  • If Joe Haden (hip) misses the Steelers game on Sunday, the trickledown effect will be felt everywhere

WEEK 6 STEELERS

WEEK 6 STEELERS

On the other hand, statistically and record wise, Pittsburgh seems to be having a solid first half of the season. The team is 3-2 and ranked 4th in the NFL in offense and 9th on defense. But the last three games have been troublesome.

Some experts favorite Pittsburgh on the spread as the team just won at Jacksonville last week 17-9, out rushing the Jags 111-56, winning time of possession by a 35-25 margin and picking off rookie quarterback Blake Bortles twice, all while covering the spread as six-point favorites. Here is a quick video on the Jaguars vs Steelers game highlights

The current betting odds for this NFL clash stand at:

Pittsburgh Steelers   +2  47o

Cleveland Browns   -1  47u

WEEK 6 Green Bay

WEEK 6 Green Bay

Additionally, at Sun Life Stadium the Green Bay Packers will face off the Miami Dolphins. Green Bay is favorite to win the game at  -3  49o. Especially after their most recent wins over the Bears and the Vikings.
