The Carolina Panthers is one of the newest professional football teams in the NFL. The team was first established in 1993 in  Charlotte, North Carolina and the Panthers home stadium is the Bank of America Stadium with a capacity of 73,778 spectators.

Over the period of their short history, the Panthers have achieved 1 Conference championships in 2003, 4 Division championships, and 5 Playoff appearances in the following years: 1996, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2013.

It was during the 1995 NFL season when the Panthers first competed at a professional level due to the NFL expansion clause which allowed the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers to join the league.

Carolina´s most renowned rivalries have been with the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New Orleans Saints all members of the NFC South. And with the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys outside their conference.

As the 2014-15 NFL season approaches it is very comforting to witness how top franchises like the Panthers are able to develop homegrown prospects into starters while at the same time relying on their coaching ability to spot young, high-value players.

As we head off into training camp, 26-year-old, 250-pound former basketball player Brandon Williams is hoping to figure into the team’s plans on offense. “(Williams) has come a long way. He’s learned an awful lot, he’s developed an awful lot,” Coach Rivera said.

On the other hand, we have football player Nate Chandler who signed with the Panthers as a offensive lineman, has in a short period of time transitioned to the opposite side of the ball due to the team´s need. And for the upcoming season, Chandler will have the responsibility of replacing All-Pro left tackle Jordan Gross.
