The Chicago Bears franchise history is quite extensive as the team was created approximately 95 years ago in 1919. The Bears are one of the oldest professional football teams and are current members of the North Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the NFL.

Chicago´s headquarters are located in Lake Forest, Illinois at Halas Hall and they have been tenants at Soldier Field stadium since 2003 where the Bears play their home games.  The stadium has a capacity for 61,500 spectators and it is located in the city of Chicago. Over the course of the Bears´history, the team has achieved 9 League championships, 4 Conference championships, 18 Division championships, 1 Super Bowl Championship in 1985 (XX), and 25 Playoff appearances in the following years: 1933, 1934, 1937, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1946, 1950, 1956, 1963, 1977, 1979, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991,1994, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2010.

Chicago´s biggest division rivalries have been with Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings – the Vikings currently hold the series lead 54–50–2 and Arizona Cardinals, the Bears currently lead the all-time series, 57–27–6. The Bears training camps is about to begin (Friday 25th) and as Coach Marc Trestman stated the highlight of training camp over the next three weeks will be the intense competition for jobs at several key positions.
