The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional football team of the NFL created approximately 38 years ago in the city of Tampa, Florida. Their headquarters are currently located in One Buccaneer Place and the team holds its home games at the Raymond James Stadium.

The Bucs first joined the NFL in 1976 as an extension team and ever since they have been current members of the South Division of the NFC Conference.

Over the almost four decades of the franchise history the Bucs have achieved 1 League championship, 1 Super Bowl Championship in 2002, 1 Conference championship, 6 Division championships, 10 Playoff appearances during the following years: 1979, 1981, 1982, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007.

It was the 2002 season when the Bucs have been the most successful despite a shaky beginning at the start of the NFL regular season. After winning the NFC South title with the team’s best ever record, 12–4, the Bucs overcame the Raiders with a final score of 48–21 in Super Bowl XXXVII.

The Bucs played their home games at the Raymond James Stadium located in Tampa with a capacity of 65,890 spectators expandable to 75,000 when required. The following is a quick view at the stadium´s google map location: click here to watch

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff include some of the following names; head coach Lovie Smith who has been leading the team as of 2014. He previously managed the Chicago Bears for a period of over eight years. His coaching assistants are: Quinn Tedford and Miles Smith and Leslie Frazier is the defensive coordinator coach.

On a different note, the Bucs are getting ready for the upcoming NFL regular season as the team drafted safety Mark Barron with the eighth pick. This is expected to be a clever move on the Bucs´end as the New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is still in talks with the team despite losing out on his appeal to be tagged as a wide receiver and not a tight end

“At the end of the day, Jimmy Graham has revolutionized the position,” Brees said, CanalStreetChronicles . com. “He’s a guy who is so talented at so many things you know and obviously he’s a big part of our offense and I hope that they’re able to reach a long-term agreement here sooner than later. At the end of the day, this is part of the process and I think we all understand that. I was in somewhat of a similar position two years ago, so I get it, I understand how this goes, but he knows that all of his teammates are behind him and hoping that he’s able to get what he deserves and then rejoin the team as quickly as possible.”
