The road to the next Super Bowl keeps bringing up very unexpected surprises as we get closer and closer to Game Day on February 2 in New York.
The upcoming Conference championship games will delight the eyes of many sport enthusiasts as the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks advance to face each other off.
Last Sunday, San Francisco 49ers beat Carolina Panthers while Peyton Manning´s extra push helped the Denver Broncos to book a spot in the Divisional playoff games. Manning threw two touchdown passes to lead Denver over San Diego for a final score of 24-17.
On January 19th, the conference championship games will decide the two teams that will be part of the 2014 Super Bowl. The Broncos will be hosting New England and the 49ers will be visiting the Seahawks in their home town, Seattle.
It’s the Broncos versus the Patriots,” Manning said. “Tom and I have played against each other a lot but when you get to the conference championship it’s about two good teams getting there.”
Let´s not forget the 49ers lost last year’s Super Bowl to the Ravens and split two games with the Seahawks this season as well by losing 29-3 at Seattle in September, but then winning 19-17 at home last December.
