The 2014-2015 NFL regular season kickoff is scheduled to start next September 4, 2014 with a football game between the Seattle Seahawks hosting the Green Bay Packers.
As we get closer to the beginning of the season, all NFL teams have started their training camps and most players have showed up for practices where the action is at its peak. As the experts take a look at the season ahead these are some of their predictions for the 2014 season:
Arizona Cardinals: Their defense is guaranteed to take a further step forward and there are high expectation on the Cardinals for the regular season, despite the additional adjustments they need to make to their offense.
Atlanta Falcons: The team had a promising draft class which should do wonders to their roster while setting them up on the right track.
Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens offense is still a major concern in general terms, but the addition of C.J. Mosley as part of their defense brings new hopes.
Buffalo Bills: The Bills´inability to back up E.J. Manuel will have a great impact on the team if they don’t do something about it.
Furthermore, it is important to take into account that most preseason NFL predictions have New Orleans winning the NFC South and the pre-season top 15 teams listed are: Seattle, Green Bay, San Francisco, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Denver, New England, Philadelphia, Chicago, St. Louis, Arizona, San Diego, Cincinnati, Carolina, and Baltimore.
Carolina Panthers: The Panthers remain the top NFC team to beat and the addition of Kevin Benjamin and Trait Turner should provide the Panthers with a major improvement.
Chicago Bears:There’s a good chance the Chicago Bears will be great in 2014, but it will depend on Jared Allen getting pressure on quarterbacks. The offense will put up terrifying numbers, but it’s the defense that will hold the team for the second season in a row.
Cincinnati Bengals:The addition of cornerback Darqueze Dennard and running back Jeremy Hill will make Cincinnati Bengals fans happy for years to come.
Dallas Cowboys: It was nice to see the Dallas Cowboys pick up offensive lineman Zack Martin. Also, Demarcus Lawrence has the potential to be a difference maker on the edge.

Additionally, New England Patriots training camp opened on July 24th and things seem to be moving in the right direction especially after the re-signing of Edelman this offseason which was a must, and fortunately for Brady, the Patriots nailed it. And let´s not forget the Pats are counting on their trio of rookies from 2013 — Aaron Dobson, Josh Boyce and Kenbrell Thompkins to step up during their second NFL season.
