The 2014 NFL regular season is quickly coming to an end as WEEK 14 wraps up this Sunday with 14 different games taking place in major cities across the United States. There will be great football action this weekend, but two games that will certainly highlight the day is the clash between the Seahawks and the Eagles and the Patriots versus the Chargers.
The Eagles will be hosting is unprecedented game at Lincoln Financial Field where they welcome Seattle. Right now, the Eagles hold a pretty strong record of 9-2 and are in first position in the NFC East so if things fall into place it is very likely we will be season a lot more of Philadelphia in the playoffs.
The Eagles took over sole possession of first place in the NFC East with a 33-10 rout of the Dallas Cowboys as three-point road favorites on Thanksgiving Day, while the Seahawks picked up another game on the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West race with a 19-3 victory against the San Francisco 49ers as one-point road dogs that night. source: http://bleacherreport.com/
The Philadelphia Eagles have nothing but respect for Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman they’d be fools not to, but that doesn’t mean they will do as some teams do and avoid throwing to his side.
“Right now, [Sherman] is probably the best corner in the league,” Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said. “You’ve always got to be aware of him. But I think we’re going to have our plan and we’re going to execute it and they’re going to execute theirs, and we’re going to see what happens on Sunday. source: http://espn.go.com/

On the other hand, the NE Patriots (9-3) @ San Diego Chargers (8-4) game will be one to fully enjoy as it is scheduled to be last game of the day. New England had sole possession of the best record in the AFC, but a loss to the Green Bay Packers tied them with the Denver Broncos. A head-to-head victory gives them the tiebreaker, but the Patriots don’t have an easy schedule in the final four games, facing three teams that have at least seven wins.
San Diego lost three consecutive games, following a 5-1 start, but they are, once again, playing like a top NFL team. They might have the most difficult remaining schedule of any team, but home games against the Patriots and Broncos will give them a chance to grab the No.1 seed. source: http://www.ibtimes.com/
The Patriots are 2-7 against the spread in their last nine games as road favorites. The Chargers have covered 10 of 14 games as home underdogs.
