WEEK 15 RAMS 2014

WEEK 15 RAMS 2014

As incredible as it might sound, we are just a couple of weeks to the end of the 2014-15 NFL regular season and the football action just can’t get any better. WEEK 15 kicks off with the clash between Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams at Edward Jones Dome in Missouri.

The Rams´currently rank fourth in the NFC West holding a record of 6-7 and have managed two consecutive victories. Winning a game by 52-0 is hard even against Oakland, but St. Louis was firing on all cylinders in its Week 13 victory over the Raiders. And during week 14 the Rams next challenge became an easy win over Washington Redskins.

The Rams have outscored their last two opponents by a margin that doesn’t seem real: 76-0. But even though the twin consecutive shutouts span both time (nearly 70 years) and geography, it could be tempting to blindly slap an asterisk beside the latest ones. After all, the blankings came against the 26th- and 30th-ranked scoring offenses in the league. source: http://bleacherreport.com/

The St. Louis Rams have a lot of talent but have one missing piece: a quarterback. Here is a quick video on the Rams’ quarterback situation: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2293536-simms-rams-are-a-qb-away-from-being-a-legit-super-bowl-contender

…And what about Arizona? The team is currently in the number one position in the NFC West conference with an impressive 10 -3 overall record. The Cardinals are in possession of at least one of the top two playoff seeds in the NFC. They can strengthen that grip or possibly lose it completely depending how they finish their final three games, the first of which is Thursday night in St. Louis against a Rams team that has shut out its past two opponents.

December football. It doesn’t get any bigger than this for a team like the Cardinals, who have now posted back-to-back, double-digit-win seasons for the first time in nearly four decades. Closing the regular season with three straight games against NFC West opponents; the Cardinals host the Seahawks a week from Sunday and then finish things on the road at the 49ers — makes this particular December even more compelling.
