While one series ended tonight, the other is just getting started.

Despite being down 3-0, the Memphis Grizzlies though they had the strength and defensive ability to remain in debate. Fortunately, the San Antonio Spurs experienced was enough to end the series.

For Memphis, this series were strange as they never expected to be sweep that easy by San Antonio. After getting blown out in Game 1, they lost in overtime twice. And there last chance was ended tonight due to their sad lost. Tony Parker’s impressive 37-point performance, gave San Antonio the victory 93-86. The Spurs are now headed to the 2013 NBA Finals and will wait for the winner between the defending champions Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers.

In the meantime, the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat are joined in a great fight, and the defending champs are having a much harder time than any fan expected. Currently Miami is up 2-1.  Game 4 will be play at Indiana this Tuesday, May 28th.

Based on the close series between the Pacers and the Miami Heat, it would not be at all surprising to see these conference finals to get until the 7th game. Indiana has shown that it is not afraid of the Heat, and this team is willing to do what is necessary to win.

Miami has been having little consistency on both ends of the court in this series against the Pacers. The team has to do a better job of getting the ball to the best players, and that doesn’t mean only Wade or James. As well Pacers need to score as a team in order to beat the defending champions.

If the series get to Game 7, the Heat will have the support of the home crowd along with the MVP LeBron James, which is an advantage. If they win the conference series it will be the third year in a row that James led his team to the NBA Finals.

For now many bettors are confident that the Miami Heat is the favorite to win the Eastern Conference. Will see what will happen during the following days. On other hand, Spurs was the obvious favorite even when tonight‘s line was Memphis Grizzlies at -2 ½ with a money line of -145.
