After so much hard work, tough trainings and epic competitions the 2014 NCAA Tournament or March Madness kicked off yesterday with Selection Sunday as the names of the 68 participating teams was announced to the fans and the press.
The so awaiting Big Dance is set and many basketball enthusiasts are thrilled with the games we will all witness in the coming days. Also, how could we forget this year’s top biggest NCAA tournament snubs:
1. SMU – Mustangs seeded No. 25 and a 23-9 overall record will play in the second-tier NIT tournament as the team was excluded of the NCAA tourney
2. CAL – Golden Bears – it is shame the team did not make the tournament despite their 19-13 record.
3. Georgetown Hoyas – the team had a 17-14 overall record and it just did not cut it. Their underachievement cost them the tourney´s entry.
4.FSU Seminoles – should have made it into the Big Dance but their 19-13 overall record was not sufficient.
