Last Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada the TUF 17 finale between two of the best ultimate fighters Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen took place, bringing a lot of action to the awaited event.
Despite his previous five fight losses, Faber continues to compete in big events and he´s now after a UFC title and perhaps be able to end his drought for good.
On the other hand, there is Jorgensen whose recent fight against Jon Albert turned out better than expected as he managed to choke and forced a tap on Albert.
Here is a quick review of these fighters numbers; first Jorgensen was hit 104 times by Barao and he was able to return 73 strikes of his own, while Faber was out-struck by an 85-60 margin against the interim champion. It is clear these guys are at a similar level which will make the fight even more exciting.
In just four round Urijah Faber or the “California Kid” came out with the victory as he managed several guillotine choke attempts and a solid attack. Jorgensen tried to settle in during the second round but the fight was a back a forth for two more rounds.
But Jorgensen´s opponent has quite the ability to shift the fight to his favor and on the fourth round in a blink of an eye Faber wrapped up things and took the title.
