NCAA Championship Winners - UConn Huskies

NCAA Championship Winners – UConn Huskies

Last night at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, North Texas the UConn Huskies and the Kentucky Wildcats battled off for the NCAA Title of the 2014 March Madness tournament.

Despite their roller-coaster season the Connecticut Huskies managed a well-deserved victory over the Wildcats for a final score of 60-54 to ge the championship title for the fourth time in their team history.

There was a tone of positive energy on the Huskies and the Wild Cats end, but UConn was able to turn the boards into a 50/50 proposition. Right at the beginning of the second half the Wildcats tried a different strategy full of twists and turns which did not work out very well.

“Heart and effort,” Nolan said, trying to find the words for how this team matched Kentucky rebound-for-rebound.

So ladies and gentlemen, we got the final all college basketball fans deserved and there is no doubt Huskies got hungry and took the title by overcoming a very strong but not so focus Kentucky.

And let´s not forget Kentucky coach John Calipari a man some people love, some others hate, some love to hate him and some hate the fact that they love him.
