During this weekend at NASCAR, Kevin Harvick got the victory at the Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord, N.C. Kasey Kahne ended in second while Kurt Busch finished in third. Harvick led for just 28 laps throughout the race. Second-place finisher Kasey Kahne led for 156 laps, but was overcome by Harvick’s late rush and the end of the race to grasp the victory.

On NHL things were exciting too, the Chicago Blackhawks got the 4-1 victory against Detroit Red Wings in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Andrew Shaw scored two times and Jonathan Toews netted to win the game. Still with this victory, the Red Wings lead the series 3-2. Game 6 will this Monday at Joe Louis Arena. The Blackhawks are the favorite with -1 1/2 +235 with a money line -135 with a 5 u/o. 

 

Going into Game 6 of their Western Conference NHL Semifinal series Sunday night at HP Pavilion against the Los Angeles Kings, the San Jose Sharks liked their chances of winning and forcing a seventh game. Sharks won a Game 6 when trailing 3-2 for just the second time in 10 tries. Game 7 is Tuesday night at Staples Center, where the defending Stanley Cup champions have won 13 straight games. Los Angeles is the favorites in this matchup, laying -1.5 points here at home. The Total has been posted at Over/Under 4.5.
