The MLB All Star Game is an annual baseball game between the best players from the American League and the National League, selected by fans, players and managers. Usually the managers of the all-star game are the managers of the previous year’s league world champion. The coaching staff for each team is selected by its manager. For the 2009, each league’s All-Star team added a 33rd player to each league’s team roster.

For this 2013, the All-Star Game will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Citi Field in Queens, New York City. This will be the first time that the Mets have held an All-Star Game since 1964.

The baseball All Star odds involve a game with some genuine meaning, unlike the All Star Games in many other sports, because the league that wins will get home field advantage during the World Series. Currently, the odds have the American League favorite at -120 and the total has been set at 8.5 with a 10-cent lean to the over.
